ABOUT OUR CAUSE:
Prostate cancer is the most common major cancer in American men today. One in six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. On October 31st, 2020, Forsyth Area Striders Team (F.A.S.T.), along with the Prostate Condition Education Council (PCEC) and Georgia Urology is proud to present the 12th annual FAST PACE RACE. This event, and its proceeds, promotes prostate cancer awareness, education, and treatment options. We also offer free PSA testing and DR exams. We’ve had over 800 men take advantage of our free PSA Screenings.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Each course was designed by runners, for runners. The 5K and 10K are all chip-timed, point-to-point runs with an overall elevation drop to the finish line. The 5K course will produce many memorable PRs and along with the 10K course with its beautiful half-mile, the visible downhill finish will give many runners their much sought-after Peachtree Road Race qualifying time.
